I had the day booked off work and the wind looked good so I drove down, arrived at 11am. Wind looked good so hit the beach with the 5.5m, this was OK for a couple of runs but ended up downwind and struggled to get back. The wind had now totally dropped and it was a struggle to keep the kite in the air, the sand was wet and with the disks sinking in when I stopped it was a right nightmare. Had another go on the 7.5m but couldnt get moving so sat around for a bit and then called it a day. Quite a frustrating day but a day of fresh air on the beach beats sitting at home watching DVDs!
